Abstract :
SS codes generated by a Markov chain are shown to be superior to LFSR-based codes and i.i.d. codes in an asynchronous DS/CDMA system in terms of the following two common performance measures: 1) acquisition rate; and 2) bit error rate of the correlator using all accumulated version of the serial search acquisition method.
