Abstract :
For researching the whole transient of power system by the digital simulation, this paper proposes the theory of the self-adaptive simulation by analyzing the characteristic of the whole transient. Based on OOM (object-oriented modeling), the class structure of power system elements is discussed. Transmission line is taken for example to build the self-adaptive models and realize the transform of subclasses. The initial values of the self-adaptive transform are also discussed. The Central China Power System (CCPS) is taken as an example to simulate the whole transient and verify the self-adaptive simulating models. The simulation results show that the models are correct for describing the whole transient characteristic of the power system and reflecting the right phenomena of the coupling between different transient processes.
