Technologies and Tools for Distributed Teams

Software development today is typically a team effort with team members in different geographical places. You might regret that teamwork isn´t what it used to be, but you also might want to look toward technologies and tools that support distributed teamwork. Authors Javier Portillo Rodriguez, Aurora Vizcaino, and I provide an overview of such technologies with many tools examples, starting with technologies such as Jazz and then showing how users can orchestrate individual tools in a distributed context.
