Abstract :
For the purpose of improving bidding mechanism of the power network company, this paper present a novel idea of the ratio of generating reliability and bidding price, based on the reliability theory of power system and the concept of the ratio of performance and price of merchandise. We suggest that, before the power network company makes the final decision about power purchase, it´s better to consider not only the bidding price of generation plants, but also the reliability indices of their available generating units. In this way, we can set up the optimal sequence form of the ratio of available capacity operate probability and bidding price on this capacity level of each plant according to decreasing principle. This is a reasonable method to promote the structure regulation of the power industry and obtain a reasonable balance between the reliability and economy of the system.
