Abstract :
This paper illustrates methods of extracting instinct parameters and deformation recognition by using wavelet transform, which is applied in a low voltage impulse (LVI) method for power transformer winding deformation detection. The results show that it is effective to eliminate the noises by using the wavelet transform. It can also make measurement repetitive and has the property of model recognition on deformation.
