  • Abstract
    A new monitoring technique of the modal content of monolithic few-mode fibre lasers, which should employ at least one fibre Bragg grating as the laser reflector, is presented. The setup is able to spatially separate the different transversal modes of monolithic fibre lasers and, therefore, allows for their direct observation.
