Abstract :
In this paper, we study a transform-based method for its application in the reduction of peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the OFDM signals. By compressing large signals while enhancing small signals suitably according to the statistical property of OFDM signals, this method can compromise well the reduction in PAPR with bit error rate (BER) performance of the broadband OFDM system.
