Abstract :
A packet selection scheme, based on channel quality estimation, for Bluetooth is described. Link management based on it can adaptively select packets for maximizing the throughput while minimizing the transmission delay at any given channel quality, and it can provide new degrees of freedom for higher layer issues such as buffer control, routing, QoS service and support of multimedia data.
