Abstract :
A new approach for error control and concealment is proposed. The method uses data hiding to transmit the redundancy necessary to recover data lost during transmission. The embedded data is a reduced binary version of each frame generated using wavelet transform and dithering techniques. The method is robust and does not result in an increase of the bit rate.
