Abstract
Image-guided procedures have grown steadily over the past decade. In most the aim is the resection or destruction of diseased tissue. Gene therapy agents have a very limited diffusion distance which limits their usefulness. A technique for guiding the delivery of gene therapy using image-guidance is under development. When complete, it would allow the delivery of diffusion limited therapies to a broad volume. We present the results of the delivery system development and the accuracy testing.
