Abstract :
Stents have dramatically improved the treatment of coronary artery disease. In this paper, we presents a method to extract the dynamic geometry of the coronary artery before and after stenting by tracking the 3-D vessel segment in biplane angiograms. By this technique, the effects of stenting on the 3-D coronary dynamics can be studied in vivo and quantitatively.
