Abstract
The paper evaluates four basic grounding methods used for the maintenance of power transmission lines. The results are summarized and evaluated to assess the effectiveness of the grounding methods and to determine the countermeasures needed to mitigate the electrical shock hazards that may exist during ground faults at the work site. The voltage and current measurements were performed with specially designed sensors to correctly record the data.
