Abstract :
Summary form only given. The purpose of the present work is the development of a mathematical model for a printed antenna array. This antenna consists of arbitrary-shape microstrip radiators excited by a periodic system of probes simulating coaxial waveguides or two-wire transmission lines. Rectangular grid nodes determine the placements of printed radiators. The model allows investigates microstrip radiators, which contain controllable elements used to expand an antenna array angular scanning sector. A conducting probe with an impedance load simulates each controllable element. It is necessary to introduce an impedance distribution on the probe.
