Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to present our current work on hardware realization of a standalone fingerprint identification system. Starting from an original idea, we have been developing the novel algorithm for implementation on various platforms in general. At present, we are working towards an efficient DSP platform implementation. In this paper, we discuss our fingerprint identification algorithm overview, design methodology and implementation on the DSP board.
