Abstract
In summary, we fabricated a 2 mm long directional coupler with the small core diameter of 2 μm and succeeded in splitting one beam into two beams of equal powers. We fabricated the Fresnel lens by embedding voids inside silica glass. We also recorded holograms by two beam interference of femtosecond laser pulses. We hope that integrated. photonic devices and systems can be created by used of these techniques.
