  • Abstract
    For a semiconductor optical amplifier-Mach Zehnder interferometer wavelength converter, a novel model based on measured characterization data is described and good agreement is demonstrated between calculated and measured results for the time-resolved chirp and intensity of the wavelength-converted signal.
