Abstract :
A novel approach to envelope constrained filter (ECF) design is proposed, based on modifications of minimax algorithms, originally developed for mismatched filter design for sidelobe suppression in radar applications. The proposed approach introduces error control in the nonfeasible solution case. Thereby allowing for an improved performance.
