Abstract :
The paper describes a new model of an ideal switch, which can be used in standard circuit simulation algorithms. There are no restrictions on network topology and switch connections. The switches can be both externally and internally controlled. The switch transition is solved by an iterative procedure and linear networks with switches must be solved as nonlinear. Convergence is fast and stable. Nonlinear switched networks can be also analyzed with this new model.
