Abstract :
Our results show that conjugated dendrimers provide a way of making highly efficient organic LEDs in which the light-emitting layer is deposited from solution. An additional advantage of these dendrimers is that they enable electrophosphorescent devices to be made giving high efficiency at high brightness. Conjugated dendrimers provide a powerful way of taking chromophores and making them solution processible, and are an important new class of material for OLEDs.
