Abstract :
A proper "electrically small" loop antenna works as a sensor which senses this RF energy. Such loop probes can be used either as a transmitter or a receiver antenna. If it is loaded resistively, a flat response can be obtained. In this way, physical size and electrical parameters must be optimized in order to get the best results. As it is well known, common inductance equations are in general form and they are derived for general calculations. Such type of loop probes have narrow physical properties. A certain equation can be derived with more accuracy by using conventional empirical derivations or by using modern optimization techniques. In this study, 48 different probes were made in very narrow physical range. For optimized results, fuzzy logic algorithm (FL) has been used. For validation of the test results, calibrated commercial EM instruments were used. Some graphs were also generated in order to compare the results. Eventually, a "new" equation symbolized FISs were created
