Abstract :
In this paper, a subsystem is described for generation of baseband signal with direct IQ modulation to serve the following purposes: information signal filtering in order to satisfy ETSI spectrum mask, generation of signals for direct modulator imperfection SSB (single side band) test and two- tone microwave amplifiers nonlinearity test. Implemented hardware and DSP (digital signal processing) solutions are described in details, and results of testing within the scope of 18 GHz system are presented.
