Abstract
In a transmultiplexer system digital signals are combined into a single signal to be sent through a single communication channel. This aim can be achieved by a selection of appropriate filters that ensure a perfect signal reconstruction in the receivers. A simple and effective integer-to-integer filter design method is presented in this paper. Due to the incorporating of integer filters, the perfect reconstruction conditions are realized not only theoretically but also in practical applications. An example of the 8-channel transmultiplexer is presented.
