  • Abstract
The two-way radio operating at 150 MHz should be certified by SAR to protect the human body following the revised radio regulation of S. Korean government. There needs a radiating source and a phantom for SAR measurement system validation at the corresponding frequencies. Dipole antennas are the most common radiating source for SAR validation, but its length at 150 MHz is too long to fit in the phantom, so the new dipole antenna with the meandering structure was developed and tested. The dimensions of the meandering dipole antenna and phantom are suggested for SAR validation at 150 MHz.
