Abstract :
We introduce a novel microwave imaging system based on compressed sensing(CS), allowing image reconstruction with fewer samples than conventional required. It is found that a sparse scene could be rebuilt under acceptable non-correlated condition. The illumination patterns of regular antennas are non-correlation enough for compressive sensing through frequency diversity. As simulation demonstrated, a sparse target is rebuilt in a 2D scene by leveraging of CS with a pair of non-special designed horn antennas and a receiving dipole.
