Abstract
The results of experimental studies of human teeth samples with diagnosis of chronic fibrous pulpitis and tooth decay using the method of Raman spectroscopy were presented. Based on the spectral analysis was shown that for calcifications is typical a high value of Raman band intensity at 959 cm-1, corresponding to the stretching vibration mode ν1 (PO4)3- of hydroxyapatite, relative to the hydroxyproline band at 870 cm-1 than for samples of healthy dentin. Differences in Raman spectra of dentin and dental calcification at 1500-1600 cm-1 (amide II) and 1630-1700 cm-1 (amide I) were presented.
