Abstract :
This paper reports recent advances in Fourier domain mode locking (FDML) swept source in our group. In this paper, several methods to improve the performance of the FDML swept source are described: using wavelength division multiplexing technique to improve the scanning range, using Fox-Smith cavity structure to improve the scanning speed, using all polarization-maintaining structure to improve the stability. At the same time, the method to improve the coherence of the FDML swept source is discussed in the paper.
