Abstract :
This paper proposes a wireless power transfer (WPT) system in an LED lighting application. The proposed design is compliant with A4WP standard. The system includes the AC/DC adapter, the transmitter module, the receiver module, the current regulator and the LED lamp. The transmitter module is capable of driving multiple LED lamps at the same time and provides more spatial freedom. The results show that the system can light the lamp with a maximum transfer distance of 6 cm and achieve an overall system efficiency of up to 65% and a transfer efficiency of up to 75%.
