Abstract :
This paper presents a new LTE antenna design with its frequency switchable in low band to have a low profile for tablet application. The antenna is formed by a T-shaped monopole strip, a shorted L-shaped strip and an L-shaped strip integrated with a switchable matching circuit. The bandwidth of the proposed antenna can cover LTE 700/850/900/1500/1800/1900 /2100/2300/2500 bands operation. Details of design considerations of proposed antenna and experimental results are presented and discussed.
