Abstract :
High field conduction and photoconduction were investigated on the extremely thin polymer films prepared from p-xylene via two different polymerization routes, i.e., plasma polymerization and vapor phase polymerization of p-xylylene bi-radicals, which gave amorphous and semicrystalline polymer films, respectively. The effects of physical and chemical differences were discussed on their electronic conduction.
