  • Abstract
Despite the market availability of multipurpose portable devices such as integrated mobile phone-PDA combos, the need for multiple devices, with each device performing its own pre-defined and specialized function still exists today. The younger generation of students have been expeditious in imbibing the new generation of divergent devices for their varying needs-cell phones for voice communication, pagers for text messaging, PDA´s for notes, the list goes on. Solutions for course delivery available today only target users with single devices, having the capability to render all forms of media associated with the course material. The framework proposed in this paper explores a new realm of course content delivery where all the devices in a user´s neighborhood of devices are united as a single entity for content delivery. The solution aims to exploit the characteristic composite abilities of these individual devices to render the educational content for the student.
