Abstract
This work-in-progress describes the development of multimedia demonstrations/exercises for communication engineering using both the visual and aural output facilities of MATLAB. The demonstrations/exercises illustrate to the students not only the mathematical description of the signals and their visual display in both the time and frequency domain, but the sounds of the signals.
