Abstract
This paper describes the successful completion of a pilot project aimed at skill development in computer technologies for adult women learners Et the University of Detroit Mercy. The project, which involved the design of six computer-training modules, has some unique features, which are discussed in this paper. The training was presented in the context of a required freshmen-level class at the university. We present the results of student assessments and outline directions for future work.
