Abstract :
This paper describes a new intelligence model, called simulated human memory (SHM), that can store, organize and retrieve information in a human-like manner. This model has the advantages of simplicity, efficiency and unification. By embedding a SHM module, we can make our information processing systems to reason like human and communicate with each other smoothly. We illustrate this model in detail and build two intelligent systems based on it for experiments: an intelligent database and a text categorization system. The two systems show some promising features in their work manners and share information with each other naturally.
