Abstract :
The authors present the results of simulation of the Cyclotron Protective Device (CPD) electron-optical system with a ribbon electron beam. We have determined the dependence of the form distortion of the ribbon beam cross section on the axis distribution function of the focusing magnetic field, which influences electron beam transportation to collector. The electron beam focusing conditions in the collector area are optimized.
