Abstract :
Presents brief technical information and the features of repeater application in cellular networks. Repeaters are commonly used in order to cover the areas with hills or other natural obstacles, impeding signal reception, Repeaters may also be used for "expansion" of the cell borders and enhancement of capacity utilization.
