Abstract :
Summary form only given. Antenna patterns and phase distributions of field sources in the aperture of nonsymmetrical reflector antennas with radiators shifted from the focus along and across the focal axis are investigated. It is shown that radiators displaced along the focal axis eliminate the shadowing of the radiating aperture and increase the directivity characteristics at a wider sector of angles. The later provides a larger number of beams in comparison with the conventional version of the radiator displaced across the focal axis.
