Abstract :
A new improvement technique for the spurious responses of a half-wavelength microstrip line (MSL) resonator bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed. Firstly, the basic operations of a tapped half-wavelength resonator are examined theoretically and experimentally. The application to MSL resonator BPFs are also presented. It is confirmed that the present concept is useful for improving spurious responses of the microwave filter.
