Abstract :
The generator based on the back wave oscillator (BWO) with high speed (10 MHz/mcs) and high precision (10/sup -4/) sweeps is elaborated. It can be realized in any part of the frequency range where BWO operates (37-1500 GHz) Accuracy of ramp sweep mode of generator is near 100 kHz under at the sweep range 1 GHz and its accuracy of continue sweep mode is as in a frequency synthesis regime. Under this conditions period of sweep is at least two order less than at the best microwave sweep-generators.
