Abstract :
Combined with logical and algebraic methods, a new matrix method is used for analyzing the steel making process. This new formulation introduces a certain matrix state equation together with the familiar Petri net marking transition equation. It can be used to describe the dynamic behavior of discrete event dynamic systems, and to derive the Petri model of the system conveniently. Compared with the conventional Petri net analysis, it is simpler and more perfect, and provides a rigorous measure of the mathematical description and analysis.
