Abstract :
This paper presents a time domain simulation model for conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) in lossy transmission lines. The lossy lines are divided into a small number of ideal sections for which the Thevenin equivalent circuits substitute, and between these sections the resistances and conductances are connected on behalf of the loss of lines. The novel algorithm yields accurate results, is efficient without any numerical integration and suitable for transient simulation of conducted EMI in conductors, PCB tracks and cables.
