Abstract
This paper analysis the effectiveness of ferrite core for improving electrical fast transient (EFT) immunity of electronic apparatus and equipment. In this study, we examine the impedances of two ferrite cores made from different materials. Where possible, the measured results for EFT suppression effectiveness of ferrite cores with different impedance characteristic are also included.
