Abstract
In August 2002 every ELOP employee received a souvenir leaflet "Israel Space Industries Day". Electrooptic Industries Ltd. (ELOP) has taken a major role in most Israel Space Projects for the last two decades. However, three years ago ELOP won the bid for developing the Payload for the foreign scientific satellite project. This was the first space project ELOP realized completely independent. The Component Management Program assures the customer that all designed and manufactured components are used in controlled processes, and are fit for their intended use. ELOP has acquired the consulting and technical engineering services of an European company well versed in Israel space programs and others space-oriented programs globally. The relationships include partnerships with Space Manufactures and Suppliers where it acts as independent auditor, performs Customer Source Inspections, and provides the results of Constructional Analysis and technology evaluations, Radiation testing, Obsolescence Exchange, Export license Application/Monitoring etc.
