Abstract
In this presentation, the panelist will review the current trends in distributed artificial intelligence for control of complex systems including power systems. The article shows the structural analysis of a multi-agent system framework to help avoid catastrophic failures of largescale power systems. The technology of intelligent agents and multi-agent system technologies are expected to deal with complexity, uncertainty, openness, real-time information and computation.
