Abstract
Space-time block codes (STBC) support reliable communication over the Rayleigh fading channel. However, the channel estimation necessary to design STBC has been considered difficult, since the statistics of fading channels are so variant that it is difficult to get an optimal channel model. Some previous researches introduced the transmit diversity without channel estimation for reducing the overall system complexity. Their results were restricted to two transmitters. This article generalizes their schemes to higher number of transmitters. Turbo codes will be concatenated with the STBC without channel estimation to provide coding gains. This article will show the restriction on the normalized Doppler frequency, fdTs will be loosened by the concatenation.
