Abstract
With the development of mobile communication, the next generation mobile networks and their services are being designed to easily accommodate the growth and changes of technology that will occur during their operational lifetime. The location service in cellular systems has become very important in recent years. A lot of papers focus on the wireless cellular location, but these papers are lacking in the tracking after location. This paper proposes a new method for the wireless cellular location and tracking. It uses a method that is based on the TDOA to get the position of the mobile station (MS) to location. Then it uses the method that is based on the Markov models to track the MS. This method is concise and robust. In addition, the performance of the proposed wireless cellular location and tracking method is evaluated through simulations.
