Abstract :
Design of FIR filters using Parzen-Cos6(πt) combinational window family is proposed. Design relationships have been established. The performance of this family is compared with the modified zeroth-order Bessel (Io-sinh) family. It is observed that the performance of combinational window filter is far superior to its Kaiser window counterpart in the stopband region.
