Abstract
In this paper, we present a framework of an evolving intrusion detection system (IDS) based on the immune principle. At first we describe the research and trends in intrusion detection systems. Then we introduce the research on immunity-based intrusion detection systems. Next a framework for the intrusion detection system is presented based on the immune principle described above. Finally, the paper is concluded with general comments concerning our framework.
