Abstract
This paper presents an improvement in a cryptographic key assignment scheme proposed by Kuo et al. Considering the problem of dynamic access control in a user hierarchy, such an improvement focuses on the ability to implement easily. Moreover, this improvement is an attempt to greatly reduce the computation time and the storage size required by the key generation and the key derivation phases in Kuo´s scheme.
