Abstract :
Asymptotic stabilization for a class of nonlinear cascades in feedforward form is achieved with positive (negative) control. For the same class of systems practical stabilization is achieved by means of a quantized control scheme, i.e. with a control action that takes values only in a discrete set. Moreover, a general stabilization result for -controllable with positive control linear systems is given. The theory is illustrated with simulation examples.
