  • Abstract
Wavelets are an important and powerful signal processing tool. We describe the VHDL implementation of the constituent parts of the decomposition and reconstruction units and the top down design process used for custom IC design. The design was simulated, synthesized and optimized using CAD design tools from the Mentor Graphics Corporation.
